First of all,
Guess what time was our flight. 4.30AM
Left house at 2.30AM!!!
Amount of time Emily slept = 45 MINS!
Oh well, I usually fall asleep in the plane anyway.
Note my tired face in the airport.
Anyway, I had a great time with my cousin. He showed us around Auckland city and brought us to a seafood restaurant by the guay side where he's working. (We got discounted =]).
Auckland sky tower.
OH did I mention I like chasing ducks. My favourite past time! I love chasing them behind my house. They're so adorable. One day, I shall have a pet duck. I used to have 2 geese until my evil dogs killed them. *growls at my dogs*
I saw heaven on earth. So many duckies!
My heart couldn't take it. It was amazingly beautiful. Too much for me to absorbed all at once. So,
I fainted.
Anyway, here are a few beautiful sceneries that I dreamed during my recovery process. I drew them all like that guy in Heroes. Amazing isn't it.
Haha. Sometimes I wonder where I get all these wild imaginations. So what if I didn't draw them, I still get credit for nice amateur photography skills right. It IS nice right?!! I took them while the car was moving. Oh, such skills. Lol. Moving on.
We went to the Bay of Islands. 3 thumbs up. That place is so stunning. The beauty of the surrounding landscape is speechless. We stayed in a house. The owner welcome any visitors/ tourists to live in his house. I would say its the best place in NZ, for retirement. Hehe. It's because there aren't any schools/unis around there.
The view from our bathroom/balcony.
My favourite part of the house. =3
Swimming pool. Caution : Don't swim too near the edge. You may be dead if you fall off.
Next, we went back to Auckland then drove to Rotorua I think. Rotorua stinks like rotten eggs. People pay good money just to see this :
And this 2 clowns.
Rainbow + geyser.
I can't remember where else we went. Hmm... I think Wellington but I can't help thinking I'm missing out something. Oh well, take a look at the pictures we took.
The hotel we stayed in in Wellington.
Ashley wanted to do bungee so badly even before we arrived in NZ. Well, she got her wish.
I have shops called "Emilys" opened all over the world. So coming down to NZ, I took this opportunity to visit my shop. =3
My dad loves fishing.
Ash's and Caleb's graduation.
I did not have a good sleep at all in NZ. I couldn't sleep at night because of those beastly "distractions" and I was always the first one among my siblings to HAVE to wake up (because I'm the oldest, I have to show them discipline and set a good example to them. HAH.), to eat what so called my biggest enemy, BREAKFAST! I don't mind light breakfast but western heavy breakfast is a no no for me. I couldn't sleep early because of the jet lag (NZ ahead of Aus by 2 hours).
Note my eye bags
Should have brought a concealer. Oh well, plan B - Sunnies and lots of sugar.
Over the years, Ash and I have learn the secrets of sleeping with our eyes open and pose.
Us sleeping in the middle of the road.
Ash sleeping with her teeth showing.
Still sleeping.
Zzzzz..
Anyway, I fell sick after the trip to NZ. I was soo sick. Here are the symptons of swine flu :
1) Headaches - Checked
2) Sorethroat - Checked
3) Fever - Checked
4) Vomitting - Checked
5) Coughing - Checked
6) Flu - Unchecked (Phew)
Went to see a doctor and he said I'm really tired so my immune system is weak. Yeah, my body finally had it. Well, its been 5 days and my throat still hurts and I'm spreading my disease around my house by coughing at everything - *cough* Ash's room *cough*.
Yong Han had been so caring when I was sick. He always make me smile. I feel much better whenever I talk to him. <3
Well, that's all. And remember, storyline may be untrue. Have a great day! xx
